Profile

Jana Breßler studied at the Technical University of Berlin, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2009 and a Master of Arts in Historical Urbanism in 2015. During her studies, she worked in various architecture firms and gained experience in project work. From 2016, she worked as a project employee at complan Kommunalberatung in the Historic City division. From 2017 to the beginning of 2019, she was in charge of the Federal Transfer Office for Urban Monument Protection and was responsible, among other things, for public relations work on topics relating to the preservation of urban renewal and the further development of historic urban areas. From 2019 to 2023, she supervised the BMBF research project "Stadterneuerung am Wendepunkt (Stadtwende)" at the Chair of Urban Planning and has been responsible for the scientific monitoring of the CCC 2.0 model project in Saarbrücken since January 2023.
