Anna Kuzyshyn holds a Master's degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine) and a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Stuttgart in 2018. After working in various architecture and planning offices, she was a research assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Faculty of Architecture, research group International Urban Design from 2020-2022. In 2019, Anna Kuzyshyn spent a year as a GIZ diaspora expert at the NGO MetaLab in Prompylad in Ivano-Frankivsk, where she was curator for the CityScanning Festival on the transformation of public space. Anna's research and teaching focus on urban planning, urban regeneration, public space and reconstruction strategies. Since 2022 she is responsible for exchange projects on resilient urban development between Ukraine and Germany, funded by DAAD (Ukraine digital) and EVZ (Meetup). There she teaches online on reconstruction topics and is involved in setting up a digital teaching platform. She also offers courses in the degree programs Architecture and Urban Planning at RPTU.
