The "Urban Planning Colloquium" is starting its third semester with the question of which planning strategies can be used to counter the "urban crisis". Reurbanization and redensification have long been important goals of urban development against the backdrop of the Leipzig Charter. Now, however, our cities are in danger of "overflowing", land and rental prices are rising massively, many groups of residents are being displaced and building land is becoming scarce. Urban and spatial planning need new formal and informal planning instruments and strategies at the interfaces between neighborhoods, cities and urban regions.
Experts from science and practice will give presentations, followed by sufficient time for discussion and networking
