Profile

Poliksen Qorri-Dragaj studied architecture with a specialization in urban planning at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2014. After graduating in 2014, she worked as an urban planner at the planning office berchtoldkrass space&options in Karlsruhe. The scope of her work ranges from classic framework planning, feasibility studies and development concepts to the development of guiding principles, interdisciplinary urban climate adaptation planning and overarching spatial analyses.

She has been working as a research assistant at the chair since the summer semester 2020. Her teaching focus is on urban design with the topics of urban climate adaptation, public space and mobility transition. In research, she is currently involved in the project "Strengthen Urban Resilience in Ukraine (SUR) - Knowledge Transfer for Resilient Reconstruction in Ukraine", which is funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
