The Master's program focuses in particular on conceptual issues relating to the overall development of cities and regions under changing economic, ecological and social conditions.
Master's degree program in Spatial Environmental Planning
The Master's degree program in Spatial Environmental Planning is a consecutive continuation of the first professionally qualifying degree B.Sc. in Spatial Planning or other comparable degree programs. The course imparts scientific core competence in environmental planning, environmental precaution and environmental design as well as the important legal expertise.
Master's degree program in Urban Planning
Since the winter semester 2023/24, the Master's degree course in Urban Planning has been offered at RPTU as an independent Master's degree course “Urban Planning M.Sc.”. The spatial focus of the Master's in Urban Planning is on cities and neighborhoods. It combines theories, methods and practice, and strengthens skills in design, GIS applications and urban development, linked to future topics such as climate change and resilience.
