About us
The teaching an research area International Planning Systems focuses on international trends in spatial and urban development such as the shrinking of cities and regions, the comparative research on spatial planning in europe and how international trends influence the spatial development and planning strategies at national and regional level. To this end, practice-oriented comparisons of planning systems and the underlying framework conditions are carried out using various methods, leading to an exchange of experience on individual problems and possible solutions. This exchange of experience is also promoted by an international network of scientists and practitioners.
