Groupement de Recherches Transfrontalières Interdisciplinaires (GRETI)
Since 2010, GRETI (a cross-border multi-disciplinary research group) has united researchers from three countries (Germany, France and Luxembourg) and various scientific disciplines (Geography, Romance studies, Linguistics, Ethno-Linguistics, Public Administration, Sociology). It functions as strategic partner of the UniGR-Center for Border Studies. GRETI's main objective is to establish an integrated and holistic view on the issue of borders. Insights into cross-border living spaces and labour markets are to be gained. GRETI is also concerned with the various national education policies and their implementation. Multi-lingual communication can function in different ways. An essential aspect herein lies in an effective communication strategy. The result can be used for the creation of processes of language teaching as well as learning.
