Doctorate and Habilitation

In the Faculty of Spatial and Environmental Planning, we offer the opportunity to earn a Dr.-Ing. or Dr. rer. pol. degree. This applies to graduates of spatial and environmental planning or comparable degree programs, as well as to those who have a degree in social sciences or economics and have already dealt with subject-related topics in spatial and environmental planning during their studies or in a professional context.

International doctoral candidates are very welcome. The department also offers the option of a binational doctorate (Cotutelle du thèse).

The ISGS (International School of Graduate Studies) at RPTU is also available to provide advice and support.
